The National Association of Massage and Manipulative Therapy (NAMMT) was founded in 2005 as a voluntary run Professional Association specifically for Massage and Manipulative Therapists.

We are an elite professional association, only open to practitioners who hold qualification in massage to GCMT standards; or equal in their respective country. We accept worldwide members practicing in the UK.
NAMMT prides itself on being run by professionals in the massage and manipulative field, therefore we understand the problems practitioners may face.
NAMMT requires members to be fully qualified in any chosen modality they practice. Only massage and manipulative therapies are within the remit of NAMMT membership. Members qualified in other modalities alongside massage/manipulative must hold Professional Malpractice Insurance (evidenced) in those areas.
If you are a new therapist applying to us for membership, your application should include a copy of your training certificates, a completed membership form, payment and copy of your liability insurance. If the correct paperwork is not received, it will prevent your application from being accepted.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is a vital part of a therapist’s career. All practicing members will need to complete a minimum of 20hours – 12 hours formal and 8 hours informal.
